At each level, the players have to battle and then obtain a wild Digimon. Only some levels are available, but as the players advance through the game, the others keep opening up. The clan decides the first Digimon, and then the players are free to travel through the stages on the world map. After the players complete the training sessions put up by Zudokorn, they obtain membership to one of the three clans and a tamer's license. There are nearly thirty dungeons and a bonus dungeon. At the game's commencing, the players have a single Digimon, but as the game progresses, they can find more Digimon and tame them and then merge them. As an inspiring tamer, the players travel the globe in Digi-beetle and go through dungeons, and soothe the Digimon. The players take Akira's role, who is a Digimon Tamer and wants to be the champion of the Digimon world. It is a dungeon crawler game released in Japan in 2000 by Bandai for the PlayStation.
